ICDE World Conference Update – 26th March 2019
In this update we are delighted to share the news that five “Learning Transformation Scholarships” are available to support doctoral candidates and/or delegates from developing countries to contribute to this year’s ICDE World Conference. The Scholarships were formally announced on St Patrick’s Day and will be funded by the National Institute for Digital Learning (NIDL) at Dublin City University. They offer the following benefits:
- 50% reduction on the Standard Registration Fee
- 100% reduction on the Pre-conference Workshop Fee
- 100% reduction on the Doctoral Research Symposium Fee
- Support Towards Accommodation Costs
You can read more about the selection criteria, closing date and application process on the Scholarships page on the ICDE World Conference Website.
So far over 300 papers have been submitted for this year’s ICDE World Conference and we have already started to share with authors the outcome of the abstract review process. However, there is still time to submit your paper with the submission date for all submission types extended until Monday 1st April. Please note that the open call for Full Paper submissions will NOT be extended past this date, although we have been asked by a number of prospective delegates to consider a further extension for other submission categories as they await the outcome of institutional funding applications.
